The tourist rental licence has been applied for and will be granted; the owners' association has already given its approval, which is registered in the community statutes.

Demand for quality apartments in La Serena is high, while there is almost no directly available new‑build stock; comparable projects are not expected to be delivered before 2028.

The Mar Menor offers a long swimming season (roughly from April to October), combined with year‑round demand from golfers at La Serena Golf. Based on comparable properties, a realistic net rental yield in La Serena is around 4–6% per year, after costs and taxes.
